She was crowned Miss Binibining Pilipinas World 2007, but many questioned its legitimacy. One columnist questioned her right to be there since she wasn’t a high school graduate yet (bless her heart). That didn’t stop her, though. She went on to become a very successful actress on the big and small screens.
