Mariah Carey-‘American Idol’

J-Lo and Steven Tyler are out but it appears that a deal is done that will land Mariah Carey behind the American Idol judges table.
“I am so excited to be joining Idol,” Mariah said. “First of all, I wanted to be there today and I wish I could’ve been there to tell you, but I think you know this all kind of just happened real quickly, so I can’t wait to get started in a couple months.”
As previously reported, Randy Jackson, the only original judge, is said to be still on the fence about returning for next season.
