Starlet Bhairavi Goswami slams actress for asking BMC for a plot of land to start her dance school

Bhairavi Goswami is one starlet who doesn't believe in keeping quiet about any wrong happening in society, no matter who is involved in it

She is completely unabashed and unapologetic this time round. She has gone ahead and slammed Madhuri Dixit-Nene for asking the BMC for a plot of land for her dance school. Goswami stated on her microblogging site, “Madhuri needs free land 2start dance academy.

BMC offers a list of 100 plots 2choose frm. Why??? Has she done more fr dance than Saroj Khan”.

She later clarified, “With due respect to Madhuriji who is a living legend, I think she has done nothing good for nation or state courtesy which she should be expecting huge favours in return.”

Madhuri in disguise at Taj

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit has confessed she hid her face during her recent trip to the Taj Mahal.

"Here is me in disguise with the family at the Taj, " the 45-year-old tweeted

The actress, who went to see the iconic structure with husband Shriram Madhav Nene and two sons, was dressed in blue jeans and a purple top. She covered her face with white scarf and sunglasses to hide her identity.

In 1999, Madhuri married Nene, a cardiovascular surgeon and moved to Denver, US from here. After staying there for almost a decade, she has shifted back to Mumbai.

Post-marriage, she worked in "Aaja Nachle", which didn't do so well. But her stint as the judge on dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4" gave her a chance to reconnect with her fans in a big way. She is now hosting the fifth season of the reality show and she has also signed two movies - "Gulaab Gang" and "Ishqiya 2"

KJo wants Ravi to dance on Bhojpuri song

Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan, who is participating in dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa", has revealed that filmmaker Karan Johar, the show's judge, wants him to regularly dance to Bhojpuri songs.

"Bhojpuri songs are played every week on the show. Karan Johar had told me he wants me to dance on a Bhojpuri song every week. I am happy that Bhojpuri is doing so well, " the 40-year-old said here Friday at the premiere of his Bhojpuri film "Jwalamukhi."

Actress Madhuri Dixit and choreographer Remo D'Souza are the other two judges on the show.

Meanwhile, Ravi is also shooting for Yash Raj Films' "Mere Dad Ki Maruti."

Four down, three to go

Filmmaker finally gets Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor and Shabana Azmi onboard for his upcoming project

Nikhil Advani’s ambitious all-female cast project is on track. Though several names have been tossed around for a while, the filmmaker has now confirmed that Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor and Shabana Azmi will star in the film.

Incidentally, the film will have seven leading ladies. The rest of the cast has yet to be ascertained. Says Nikhil, “I am in Boston currently and will be in Mumbai after a week. I have already spoken to the actresses. Once I am back, I will finalise the rest of the names.”

The producer-director also has another project on hand — an action thriller which apparently stars Irrfan, Huma Qureshi and Arjun Rampal. However Nikhil is taking his time to finalise which project will goes on the floors first.

He says, “I am yet to sign anyone for this film. I am working on several projects and the casting is still on.”

Madhuri goes missing

As soon as she featured on 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', a rival channel pulled a stop on her new promos for them

Madhuri Dixit has gone missing as narrator of a recently launched entertainment channel. The actress used to guide viewers about the different programmes on it. But ever since she began appearing in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, she is not to be seen on the channel.

Says a source, “As she decided to be part of a dance show on a rival channel, they obviously could not feature her as the presenter of their offerings. They had to immediately stop her promos. As a result, the promos were pulled off the air as soon as Jhalak rolled.”

Buzz is that the channel is now looking for a replacement for the star. Though nothing has been finalised as yet, they are hopeful to rope in another B-Town personality.

This was one of her earlier assignments when she decided to relocate to Mumbai last year and begin anew on the big and small screen. Madhuri had been specially roped in to be part of their campaigns in a bid to reach out to the audience in a bigger way.

The channel however maintains, “Madhuri Dixit had been roped in as the channel’s sutradhar for six months. As the time period is over she is no longer shown.”

But our source maintains, “As soon as she decided to be part of Jhalak and before the promos went off air, she did a disappearing act. There was no way she could be seen on rival channels at the same time. It would be conflict of interests.”
