I absolutely adore Kelly Lin. She is beautiful, smart and talented. Kelly grew up in California and graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Degree in Economics and Comparative Literature. Not knowing what to do next, she went to pursue a career in show business in Taiwan.
Originally wanting to be a singer in Taiwan, Kelly Lin went on to become a successful actress in Hong Kong. It was her beauty that first caught the attention of Hong Kong directors, who placed her in leading roles alongside superstars, Andy Lau, Stephen Chow and Ekin Cheng. In 2006 she was nominated for the best supporting actress award at the Hong Kong Film Awards and in 2008 was nominated for Best Actress for her role in "The Tokyo Trial" at the Hundred Flowers film festival.
Her films have appeard in film festivals around the world, including The Cannes Film Festival, The Venice International Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, New York Asian Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, the Udine Far East Film Festival, the Seattle International Film Festival and the Barcelona Film Festival.
She has modelled for numerous beauty and commercial products and has appeared on the cover of fashion magazines throughout, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. In 2002, she was voted "Asia's Sexiest Woman" in FHM magazine.
